If you can think of a sport, the chances are you can do it at Monkton! This breadth of choice leads to engagement by a huge range of pupils, and the expert coaching and support from staff grows pupils who excel in every sporting arena.
Team sports, individual opportunities - something for everyone
We believe in the importance of physical activity, and growing a love of this for life, so we offer all kinds of sports to help each pupil find something they want to continue long after school days are gone.
For some that will lead to pursuing it at the highest level, at school and beyond and we provide tailored support for those who want to be top athletes, whether in a team sport, like rugby or netball, or in more individual sports.
We are a Team GB Pentathlon Hub and you can see below the recent haul of medals from some of our pupils at European Biathle Championships!
