Boarding & Day
Whether you join Monkton for Sixth Form or have grown up here, as you enter Year 12, the sense of connection only deepens, as our sixth form students develop their leadership skills: increasingly becoming role models, older brothers and sisters and the force behind making the very special community that is Monkton.

Day Pupils, along with boarders, belong to one of our six houses, and are able to join in with the myriad of activities and fun to be had, once the working day is done. The evenings form a mix of time for prep and time to build friendships, get involved with the many things on offer at Monkton.

The thriving boarding ethos of Monkton provides a true home from home for boarders, from all corners of the UK and across the globe.

Most weekends, far from empytying, most boarders are in school, and some of our day pupils stay for Saturday evening, to join in the many events on offer, from our own rodeo evening, Sixth Form parties (always with a theme!), the Spring Ball, House Dinners and Band night, to name but a few. For day pupils this chance to be fully part of the school community is what sets Monkton apart and enriches their experience hugely.
