Exam Results
We are very proud of our students' achievements, both at GCSE and A Level.
Rather than being a highly selective school, we focus on stretching and growing every pupil, from the most academically able to those for whom the classroom is more challenging.
The jargon is "value-add". What it means is our inspiring and dedicated teaching staff enable every pupil to achieve far beyond what would be expected from their baseline data. We provide outstanding extension for the academic high-flyers, alongside an extraordinary ability to develop academic progress in those who struggle to see their potential.

A Level Results
There is no standard pupil, no one-size-fits-all outcome and there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ Monktonian. When our students leave the Sixth Form, their paths are many and varied, reflecting their skills and passions, but their achievements give them a choice of universities and careers.
