NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN

A Monkton Early Years education provides the very best opportunities for children as they benefit from all that is on offer at the Prep School. Set in a purpose built, calm environment, with specialist teaching provision and access to the expansive and beautiful school grounds, children actively participate in a range of activities and celebrations as our Early Years provision is integral to Prep School life. This means children are fully prepared for their transition to Reception year after time in our Nursery and Kindergarten classes.

Choosing a Monkton education allows children to form bonds of friendship in their youngest years that will continue throughout the Prep School, and enables parents to be part of a supportive and kind-hearted community as children journey through the school. Our Enhanced Provision is detailed below.

Priority sessions in Nursery and Kindergarten are offered to those indicating a long term commitment to the School and those with siblings in Reception and above already at Monkton.

From September 2026 children who have turned 3+ years old must attend for a minimum of 3 days per week (the term after they turn 3).
