Monkton Combe Pupils Excel at European Biathle, Triathle, and Laser Run Championships 2025

Monkton Combe School is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Callum L-R, Charlotte O, William S, and Freddie S at the recent European Biathle, Triathle, and Laser Run Championships 2025 held in Alanya, Turkey.

Competing against children from across the continent in Pentathlon-based events including running, swimming, and shooting, the pupils collectively brought home an impressive 21 medals.

The competition was fierce, particularly against the host nation, yet Monkton athletes demonstrated exceptional skill and determination. Special recognition goes to Freddie Sim, who won gold in the Laser Run Relay, and Callum Le Roux, who secured first place in both the Biathle Relay and Biathle Team events, in addition to achieving a remarkable individual gold in the U13 Laser Run, earning him the title of European Champion 2025.

All four pupils were presented with their medals during a ceremony in Chapel, graced by Olympic gold medalist Joe Choong. Monkton Combe is extremely proud of their achievements.
