Based at the Saltford Rowing Centre, each summer we offer a multi-week rowing camp open to all children from age 13 to age 18. We welcome those willing and keen to learn, whether this is their first experience of rowing or they are a more experienced rower looking to improve their skills on the water.
Our courses offer expert coaching that will accelerate the learning process at all levels of ability. Most importantly these camps will be great fun.
Each day our course begins at 9.00am and ends at 3.00pm, the majority of the day will be spent on the water. Our lead coach and former Paralympic Head Coach for Great Britain, Nick Baker, working with the infamous Simon Brown, will be on the water with the children coaching from launches ensuring that they are able to immerse themselves in all things rowing. We have a number of qualified and aspirational session coaches that support the camps from a variety of performance rowing backgrounds.
Prerequisites: Children must be able to swim a minimum of 25 meters and tread water for least 60 seconds to attend this course. Parents must sign to agree they have witnessed their child complete the above minimum swimming standards.
Please bring along a packed lunch and two spare sets of rowing kit for each day.
