Monkton rugby boys selected for South West England U18s

Following a successful campaign with Dorset and Wilts County U18s and a rigorous trial process, Oli Fussell and Rowan Smith have been selected to represent South West of England U18s.

This is a tremendous achievement and speaks of the hard work that both players have put in and their rugby quality. Rowan Smith has been made Captain of the team, which is a fantastic and well deserved accolade. 

Rowan said:

"It's great to be selected for the South West of England and an honour to captain the side, and brilliant to play in the centres with my best mate. Oli and I have played together for Monkton since Year 7 and this is a nice way to finish this time."
