Farm House

Boys boarding House

The Judd family

Will and Amy Judd are the new Houseparents of Farm House. They both grew up locally and still have family in Bath and the surrounding area. After completing his schooling at a local Boarding School, Will studied Product Design at Portsmouth University. Following his degree he worked in both the Charity Sector and then in the Public Sector within the Wiltshire Police Force before doing a PGCE at Bath Spa. Since then he has taught for the last six years in Framlingham College, Suffolk. He has been Head of D&T, Head of PSHE and Head of the Army Section CCF as well as working in two of the Fram Boarding Houses. A keen sportsman, Will has coached Rugby, Hockey, Netball (!) Shooting, Cricket and Athletics. He also is an Assessor and keen leader of DofE expeditions and enjoys encouraging young people to take part.

Amy, meanwhile has been a full-time mum looking after their three children aged 11 to 4 yrs. She originally studied health care and more recently completed an Open University degree with a focus on Children’s Literature. Since then, she has started part-time work in their local primary school and also read with children and supported those with additional needs voluntarily.

Amy and Will, with their three children, are looking forward to welcoming the Farm House boys into their home and aim to make Farm House a place where they can relax, feel supported and be encouraged in their personal goals.
