Photography

photography imagePhotography is a popular subject, that has thrived and sent out a large number of students to Photography related careers and degree courses. The courses are taught in the new facility on the school campus, including a large darkroom and two separate Mac suites.

GCSE

Students study Photography (OCR). It is an exciting and demanding subject that presupposes interest and talent. The course involves many elements of creative practice and an individual, personal response to the work is encouraged. There is a technical element to the course, with film, digital and cameraless processes explored. Throughout the course students are required to evaluate other artists' work, both visually and in written form.
