Topics that are covered include; Coding with Scratch and Python, Touch Typing, File Management, Artificial Intelligence and Graphic & Image Manipulation.

Years 10 and 11

For those students with a keen interest in technology and a desire to solve problems and apply their logicality, Computer Science is an ideal subject to study. The (iGCSE) Computer Science students study the principles and practices of computing and gain confidence in computational thinking and programming.

Students will:
    •    learn to program by writing computer code

    •    develop their understanding of the main principles of problem-solving using computers

    •    apply their understanding to develop computer-based solutions to problems using algorithms and a high-level programming language

    •    develop a range of technical skills
