Year 9s make memorable trip
Tuesday, 08 November 2016
The Year 9s had a memorable trip to France just before the half term break which followed up six weeks of study about World War 1. They spent one day on The Somme, one day in Ypres where they lay a wreath on behalf of the school at the Menin Gate Ceremony.
They will, for the next couple of weeks be exploring how the conflict impacted on the school by writing diaries of OMs that were in the conflict. Please take a look at the video below from their trip.
