Hannan Saddiq & Oliver Nunn
Monkton physicists had reason to celebrate last week. The British Physics Olympiad is held annually and this year over 1680 students took part. The paper was designed to stretch and challenge the top young physicists in the country in a national competition. Two of Monkton's pupils did particularly well - Hannan Saddiq came in the top 50 receiving a gold certificate and Oliver Nunn came in the top 220 receiving a sliver award. Hannan will go onto represent Monkton in the second round of the competition. We wish him the very best of luck and many congratulations to them both for what they have achieved so far.
