As we hit the third weekend in a row for Hatton House before half term, it was a chance to think back over all the excitement and fun we have enjoyed since our last leave weekend.
The Canal walk into Bath and mountain biking last weekend were the starters and main course, so today we finished with the proverbial desert and went Indoor Surfing in Cardiff!
We hope you enjoyed the short video of our flash dance yesterday morning before breakfast, it helped get the children up and ready to go for the Saturday and we haven't stopped dancing since.
Saturday afternoon and the weather was miserable outside, the boarders made the most of the swimming pool and the opportunity to play on the inflatable. Swimming led onto a revision session and then some time in the I.T suite before supper. Duvets were gathered, tuck was handed out and everyone crashed in front of a film with the weather howling outside.
Sunday morning and some extra ZZZZZ in bed before the usual delicious spread to break our fast. Pack lunched up and swimming costume + towel in hand, we headed out to Wales again to discover the delights of the Cardiff International White Water rafting Centre.
The Indoor Surfing was a real hit and we hope you enjoy the film of the children mastering the Flo rider.
Back to school and more revision for all before supper.
Mr Hutchinson led the Hub on John 10:10 and talked about what it means to have life in all it's fullness. There were lots of great questions and good discussion.
With only a few days to go before half term, all the pupils were in bed early after another action packed day.
There is lots to look forward to this week and the school Triathlon on Friday will be a particular highlight, with all the Hatton pupils taking part.
We hope you can join us for our Hatton House cream tea on Friday before the Triathlon, do email us if you haven't already, to let us know if you are able to make it.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, have a great week.
