Prep Boarders' Blog - 16th/17th April
Monday, 18 April 2016
The sun has come out for the first weekend back and all the boarders enjoyed being outside as much as possible.
Saturday afternoon was spent playing tennis and cricket before getting stuck into a Chinese meal and movie.
A relaxing Sunday started with the usual spectacular breakfast. The highlight being chocolate porridge!
It was short stroll down the hill to church at Widcombe Baptist, where the pupils enjoyed being part of the welcoming church community.
Lunch was a picnic in the school grounds before jumping into the mini buses and heading to Freedog in Swindon. After lots of bouncing and a slush puppy, thankfully in that order, it was time to head home and make the most of the evening sun with supper outside on the grass. The catering staff kindly provided 'Roast in a Box' with all the trimmings. It was a wonderful way to finish the first weekend of term and look forward to the coming week ahead.
We hope you enjoy the movie that Miss Stoelinga has put together.
Thank you to Mrs Ross, Mrs Hooper and Mrs Craig for their help over the weekend.
