Kindergarten

Kindergarten is for children aged 3-4 years. Sessions are available in the morning (8.40am-12.30pm), afternoon (12.30pm-3.30pm) or all day (8.40am-3.30pm). Parents may drop off children from 8.15am although the sessions do not start until 8.40am. Children must attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week. 

Kindergarten is situated in the Pre-Prep building within the grounds of Monkton Prep School. There are two attractive classrooms on the ground floor where they learn, sing, dance, play and have lots of fun. They also have access to the Food Technology Room, Chapel, swimming pool and exciting outdoor play areas including the Copse and the new "outdoor classroom" which has just been built in the woods.

The Kindergarten children participate fully in the life of the Pre-Prep, taking part in our celebrations, charity days and outdoor initiatives so that they feel very much part of the Monkton family.
