Achievements to Date

Launched in 1995, The Monkton Campaign was designed to assist the School over the next several years to finance a variety of capital developments and to increase funding for bursaries and scholarships. To date, the Campaign has raised over £5 million in cash and pledges.

Major projects completed at the Senior School:

• Information and Communication Technology Centre
• Sixth Form Centre
• Sports Centre
• Drama Studio
• extension and refurbishment of the Chapel
• extension and refurbishment of the 'all weather' sports pitch
• refurbishment and modernisation of the Library
• creation of a new Maths and Science Centre - pictured left

Major projects completed at the Prep School:

• Indoor Swimming & Fitness Centre
• Information and Communication Technology Centre
• Two new hard courts for tennis and netball
• Library & Learning Resources Centre
• 'All Weather' Hockey Pitch

As we look to the future, there is much that we would like to achieve to ensure that Monkton continues to make its distinctive and special educational provision. This will involve new ideas and new initiatives, all designed to provide a strong Christian environment where young people can continue to receive first-class, all-round education; where closer relationships can be built and fostered with Old Monktonians, Old Clarendonians, parents and friends; and where the profile and visibility of the School can be raised even further both nationally and internationally.
