A beautiful venue for a successful event
Set in the beautiful rural location of the Midford Valley and with its extensive grounds, and elegant Bath stone buildings, Monkton provides a perfect backdrop for your private party, corporate event, wedding reception or sporting occasion.
We cater for events ranging from private dinner parties for 20 to an outdoor event for 350 people. Our marquees can be hired for these larger outdoor occasions. We also have rooms for business meetings suitable for groups from 10 - 350 with access to the latest ICT and audio visual equipment for professional presentations.
Planning your event at Monkton is very easy. A dedicated member of staff will take you through every aspect of the planning whether you are arranging a private party or a large outdoor event.
Our function rooms are available to seat and serve up to 180 guests, or up to 350 guests seated theatre style. With two stunning halls available for hire, and exclusive use of our extensive surrounding grounds, we can make your event run seamlessly, making your day at Monkton a truly memorable occasion.
An alternative to the main School halls are our marquee venues. Our most popular site is the Longmead Pavillion which has been voted amongst the top ten prettiest in the UK by The Times magazine. Local companies are used to supply all of our marquees.
